WYCLIFFE Drama Group will bring George Bernard Shaw’s classic comedy Pygmalion to the stage next week.

The play tells the story of Pygmalion the sculptor. Scornful of women, he falls in love with his perfect female statue and prays that she be given life so that he can marry her.

The group’s publicity officer Alison Woodward said: “We are pleased to say that we have a very good cast for this WDG production with some established actors and introducing new and young members. We hope you enjoy the story as much as we have enjoyed working on it.”

Performances take place on April 23, 24 and 25 at Lutterworth College, Bitteswell Road, Lutterworth. Tickets cost £10 (£8 for concessions), and are available from Aspect Stationers Lutterworth and Boc Office on 07913 880663.
