CLOTHING store Debenhams is on the look-out for over 50 retail stars for its new Rugby store, which opens this autumn.
The new department store, which will form a cornerstone of the revamped Elliott’s Field Retail Park, will create more than 50 new permanent jobs and various temporary positions for the Christmas season.
New store manager Sam Zeen said: “We’re feeling very positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and it is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in developing a career in retail.
“We are looking for people with the passion and drive to deliver the great service our customers deserve. The majority of roles will be on the sales floor, with additional positions available back of house.

Sam has been working with the Rugby JobCentre to help unemployed clients find new careers with Debenhams. More than 30 enthusiastic JobCentre clients attended a workshop at Warwickshire College before applying for a new career with Debenhams Rugby.
