Crack cocaine earns Rugby man ten years in jail

A TEN year prison sentence has been handed to a Rugby man for drugs offences.

Reggie Fowell-Boston, 30, of Ashwood Court, Rugby was found guilty of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and money laundering at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday (July 15) following a three day trial.

Fowell-Boston was arrested at a house in Worcester Street, Rugby on January 6 this year after officers found a quantity of class A drugs, drug-related paraphernalia and £3,870 in cash on him.

After a thorough and complex investigation, Fowell-Boston was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of criminal property and obstructing police.




His sentence comprises seven years for possession with intent to supply and three years for money laundering under the proceeds of crime act.

Detective Constable Gary Hammond from Rugby Proactive CID said: “This sentencing shows a clear message that Warwickshire Police will robustly deal with drug issues within our communities.


“We are committed to tackling those involved in the supply of these dangerous substances and it is our priority to keep Rugby a safe place by removing these drugs from our streets.”
