THE DECISION on a massive development to the south of Magna Park has been delayed until further notice.
Harborough District Council’s Planning Committee meeting, scheduled for March 23, to consider the application from DB Symmetry for a new warehouse development has been cancelled.
If approved, the plans could see a near-three million sq ft network of warehouses built to the south Magna Park, dubbed Symmetry Park.
The committee is set to consider another proposal for development to the north of Magna Park – submitted by IDI Gazeley – but will now look to discuss the two applications together in one meeting.
The council say this will enable them to look at the impact and benefits of both schemes at the same time.
The date for the meeting, anticipated to be in the summer, is yet to be set.
