A YOUNG girl was shoved into a hedge by a grown man while she was walking to school.
The 11-year-old girl injured her shoulder when she was assaulted near an alleyway in Princes Street at around 8.10am on Wednesday October 5.
The unknown man then verbally abused the girl before riding away on a black bicycle.
He is described as white, average build and about 40 years-old, with a bald head and was wearing a grey hooded top.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or saw a man matching the description in the area.
Call police on 101, quoting incident number 288 of October 6.
