A ROBBER who attacked a woman in Rugby town centre in broad daylight is being hunted by police.

Witnesses are being urged to come forward following the attempted robbery on Regent Street around 1pm on Thursday May 7.

The victim, who is in her 60s, was walking along Regent Street towards Regent Place on the left hand side of the pavement when she was attacked from behind.
