THE FIRST new store at the revamped Elliott’s Field Retail Park opens tomorrow (Thursday July 23) – with the help of stars from Leicester Tigers.
First-team players from the Aviva Premiership team will help open Rugby’s new, bigger branch of clothing retailer Next at 10am.
A Next spokesperson said: “We’re very excited to be back in Rugby. This store will be dramatically different from the one we had over a year ago. There’s been lots of local support and we’ve created 60 new jobs within the local community too.”
The players will hand out mini rugby balls to the first 50 customers, giving them the chance to win £250 of Next clothing in a fashion giveaway.
The store itself will incorporate fashion for men and women, shoe rooms and homeware.
The store closed over a year ago as part of the retail park’s wider redevelopment, which has attracted other big name retailers such as Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, Outfit, Fat Face, River Island and others.
