TEENAGER Ryan Kenworthy was victorious in the K11/10B Braunston event but it could have been a different story had favourite Simon Bayliss not suffered a problems with his bike late into the race.

Bayliss was forced to withdraw hundreds of yards away from the finish line after his rear tyre blew out on what was a warm evening.

This enabled Kenworthy to take first position in a time of 21.20, while Lewis Jones finished third 20 seconds behind and David Dewton crossed the finish line to take third.
