THE ABSENCE Craig McKee meant provided Dave Elliott with a rare chance of tasting victory at Rugby Racing Cycling Club’s last ten-mile event of the current season.
The fast K11/10T course in Thurlaston provided plenty of personal best times for riders and it was Elliott who finished as the fastest Rugby member in a time of 21 minutes and four seconds.
The fastest rider on the night was Kenilworth’s Matt Clinton who won the event in an impressive time of 18.50, which was the same time he recorded two years ago, while Ryan Kenworthy was the second fastest in 19.57.
