A LONG-STANDING Rugby-based coach holiday company is reaching the end of the road after 35 years in business.
Jamesway Travel, which started its engines in 1991, will operate its final tours next year, having taken thousands of local people on holidays across the UK and Europe over the years.
Owner James Pak said: “After long consideration, it is with sadness and a heavy heart that we will be running our final holidays.
“Like many independent businesses in the leisure industry, we never fully recovered from the impact of Covid.
“With a shrinking customer base and increasing pressure on margins, we have decided to bow out gracefully.
“I will now be taking an active retirement.
“I would like to thank all our customers for their loyalty over the years. Hopefully, we’ve been able to give something back through happy holiday memories and by supporting local charities.
“I also want to thank Sarah and Ann for their excellent work, as well as Robinsons Coaches and their brilliant drivers.”
Jamesway will be running a programme of Farewell Tours up to the end of March next year.
