CARERS in Warwickshire are invited to a series of workshops which aim to provide them with better support.
Warwickshire County Council (WCC) and Caring Together Warwickshire are holding the workshops for anyone who is providing unpaid care to a loved one.
The sessions aim to provide practical support, and give carers a chance discuss their experiences.
Coun Anne-Marie Sonko, WCC spokesperson for Adult Social Care and Health, said: “It is a priority for the county council to engage with as many carers as possible to gather local feedback about their experiences as well as provide information to them about the support that is available.
“Warwickshire County Council and Caring Together Warwickshire want to understand how to better support carers across the county to ensure they feel empowered and supported in their caring role.”
The following workshops take place at 10am-12pm:
- November 4 at Brunswick Healthy Living Centre, Leamington
- November 5 at Overslade Community Centre, Rugby
- November 6 at The Harbour Centre, Bedworth
Online workshops also take place on November 3 at 11am-12pm, and November 4 at 1.30-2.30pm and 7.30-8.30pm.
