A RECORD-breaking Santa Dash has raised over £110,000 for The Myton Hospices.
Victoria Park in Leamington was transformed into a sea of red, white and festive sparkle as 1,000 Santas and elves took on the 5km route in aid of the charity, which provides compassionate care to people across Warwickshire living with a life-limiting illness.
The incredible total of £112,253 raised is the highest in the event’s history and will fund the running costs of Warwick Myton Hospice for three weeks.
Natalie Walker, events and campaigns manager at The Myton Hospices, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us for our record-breaking Santa Dash to celebrate the festive season and support your local hospice. The amount raised will enable us to be here for more people when they need us most, now and in the future. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and supported the event.”
