Recycle your Christmas tree and help The Myton Hospices

Ian Hughes 30th Dec, 2025   0

THE MYTON Hospices’ annual Charity Christmas Tree Collection, delivered in partnership with Pass The Smile, returns from January 9 to 11.

This marks the final opportunity for households to book a collection slot. Teams of volunteers will be out across Coventry and Warwickshire collecting and recycling real Christmas trees. Every tree collected is responsibly recycled, helping to reduce waste and protect the environment, while raising vital funds to support patients and families cared for by The Myton Hospices, both within its hospices and across the community. Proceeds also help fund research into childhood cancer.

Since the collections began in 2019, a total of 14,190 Christmas trees have been collected, raising an £211,500.

This year the partnership aims to collect and recycle 4,000 real Christmas trees, covering all CV postcodes. Each tree will be turned into compost or biomass, offering residents a convenient and environmentally friendly way to dispose of their tree while supporting a local charity.
