BUDDING gardeners from Henry Hinde Junior School enjoyed a day in the sun planting bulbs at the green in Nelson Way, Bilton.
A group of 34 kids from Year 4 dug deep to add a splash of springtime colour to the area, and see what had grown from last year’s planting session.
Teacher Andy Morgan said: “The children were very eager to plant the bulbs and really enjoyed it.
“They also received a healthy snack and drink for their efforts, and are keen to see what has grown. We will be going back in October to add more bulbs.”
