FIRE crews were called to help a driver who became trapped after a three-car pile up at Brandon Stadium.

Two fire engines from Rugby Fire Station arrived at the racetrack in Brandon at around 9.30pm on Saturday (August 15) to save a man trapped inside a stock car following a crash.

The man had to be cut free from the car before being tended to by ambulance services. Fire crews were delayed for approximately one hour.
