A TEN-year-old boy was struck by a car in a hit-and-run collision this morning (Tuesday March 15).
The incident occurred at around 8:20am near the Co-op on Lawford Road.
The vehicle, which did not stop, was either silver or white in colour.
The boy sustained slight bruising but did not require medical treatment.
Police are keen to speak to the driver of the vehicle or anyone who witnessed the incident.
