Court date set for Rugby man charged with drug and robbery offences

A 36-YEAR-OLD man is set to appear in court to answer multiple drug and robbery charges.

Michael Brian Keogh, of Coton Road, Rugby, was arrested on August 13 following an incident at a business premises on Newbold Road.

He was charged with robbery and attempted robbery in connection with incidents in Bilton Road on August 15 and in North Street on August 23.

He was also charged with possession of crack cocaine and heroin relating to an incident in June as well as leaving without making payment at an incident in Coton Road in July.




Keogh went before magistrates where he was remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on September 22.
