A FESTIVE musical extravaganza takes place on Friday to get Rugbeians into the Christmas mood – and to pay tribute to the town’s firefighting heroes.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Harvest Fellowship parish church is welcoming all to a Carol Service on Friday (December 23).
A fully kitted-out, on-duty crew from Rugby Fire Station will park their engine outside and join the choir to sing a few carols – as long as they aren’t called out!
The audience will also be treated to a nativity play, choreography, a sing-along, and free refreshments.
Residents of five Rugby care and nursing homes will also be attending with care staff and nurses.
The events takes place at the RCCG church in Albert Street, starting at 7pm.
