FOOTBALL: RUGBY Town have released their provisional pre-season fixture list ahead of the club’s 2017/18 Midland Football League Premier Division campaign.
Highlights of the schedule see visits to the Butlin Road main pitch from Southern League Premier side Banbury and Conference North Nuneaton Town on the 25th and 31st of July respectively.
Three further home warm-up games will take place on the astroturf facility at home against Atherstone, Nuneaton Griff, and Romulus.
There are also two away friendlies at Coventry Copsewood and Hinckley, with Valley kicking off their competitive season earlier than usual in the FA Cup qualifying rounds on Saturday (August 5).
