MISS Rugby is hoping to become Miss England next month.
Paris Allen was among just 15 of 64 semi-finalists to win a place in the final.
The 19 year-old won through thanks to her work in raising around £500 towards the Miss World Charity Beauty with a Purpose, supporting under privileged children worldwide.
At the semi finals Paris had to make an ‘eco costume’ out of recycled materials, model it on the catwalk, and talk about the historical elements of Rugby which inspired her design.
Paris, who is also an international Modern Pentathlete and coaches young athletes, said: “I am overjoyed at making the final.
“I am so proud of the work I have done and the confidence I have gained, The feeling of winning a grand final place is incredible and I hope I can do a great job in the final representing Rugby.”
Paris is now looking for a local sponsor for the event which costs approximately £250 for a page in the Miss England Grand Final Programme. Email [email protected] for more information.
Paris will compete in the national finals of Miss England 2017 at Resorts World Birmingham from July 12 to 14.
