A LIFE-SAVING charity has been championed by a regional housing company.
Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance received a donation of £1,000 from Persimmon Homes Central after it applied to become one of their monthly Community Champions.
Air Ambulance spokeswoman Chloe Bass said the charity needed constant funding for medical supplies, such as gauze, syringes and pelvis binders, used to prevent internal bleeding.
Persimmon Homes sales manager Sarah Read said: “It is good to know that our donation will be put to such good use. If people were unsuccessful last month in their Community Champions application, we urge them to visit the Persimmon Homes website and to try again and hopefully they will become our next recipient.”
The Air Ambulance also raises money to cover their operational costs through public donations, gifted donations and corporate support.
