A GRANDMOTHER from Rugby has won the ultimate barbecue.
Myra Duffy, from Stretton Under Fosse, has landed herself a brand new Weber barbecue and goodies to host a garden party – including a DJ, lighting and catering.
Myra won the prize completely unexpectedly after buying some Aunt Bessie’s wedges. Unbeknownst to her, by buying the frozen food and swiping a supermarket loyalty card, she entered the competition and was chosen as the winner.
Now she is set to invite family and friends round for a final end-of-summer celebration.
Myra said: “I honestly can’t wait to host the barbecue. It’s amazing to think we’re going to be having the best party, without having to organise a thing!”
