Village fete returns to Clifton on Saturday

Rugby Editorial 15th Sep, 2017   0

A TRADITIONAL village fete is coming to Clifton upon Dunsmore on Saturday (September 16).

Organised by the Parish Council, it is the first time the village has held such an event in a number of years.

The fete will include stalls from a range of local traders, an open produce and craft show, demonstrations from local dance and martial arts schools, and a dog show.

Vistors can enjoy entertainment from local bands, sample barbecue treats and sip on beverages from the bar.

Alastair Robinson, Vice-Chair of the Parish Council said: “A community event is something local residents have told us they are keen to attend, so a dedicated group of people in the village have been working to pull this together.

“There is something for everyone to enjoy and we welcome anyone from Clifton and the wider Rugby area to join us on the day.”
