CHILD porn has earned a Rugby man eight months in prison.
Ivan Cullen Bong, 37, of Brambling Close, Rugby, was sentenced on Wednesday 15 November at Warwick Crown Court after he pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to three counts of making an indecent image of a child.
He has also been put on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years and given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
Detective Constable Robert Ewington said: “Despite his guilty plea, Bong has absolutely no regard for the suffering of the children in the images he downloaded. Warwickshire Police is committed to tracking down and bringing to justice those who seek to obtain this kind of material.
“If anyone has information that someone is using the internet to access indecent images, I would urge them to contact police on 101.”
