CONSIDER yourself entertained as Five Star Theatre brings its latest production to the Benn Hall.
Oliver! takes to the stage on Friday and Saturday (December 1 and 2).
The beloved musical brings to life Dickens’ timeless story of the boy who asked for more, filled with memorable characters like the lovable Oliver Twist, the hard-hearted Mr Bumble, The Artful Dodger, Nancy, Bill Sykes and Fagin.
Producer Ethan J Smith says: “We are exceptionally lucky with the cast of Oliver! in that the adult characters are played by adult actors, allowing our child performers to thoroughly enjoy their roles of hungry workhouse children and mischievous pickpockets.
“It’s a family show and our cast is very much a family of its own.”
The show’s score is full of Lionel Bart songs including Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me and more.
Performances take place on Friday (December 1) at 7.30pm, and Saturday (December 2) at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
