AN EXPLOSION underneath an electrical manhole cover led to part of Rugby being cordoned off.
Emergency services received reports of an explosion at around 11am on Monday (February 5) on the Craven Road junction of Claremont Road.
Firefighters cordoned off the area while the electricity board worked to make the supply safe.
