A YOUNGSTER will be among crowds of runners raising money for Cancer Research at the Rugby Race for Life later this month.
Ellie Taylor will lace up her trainers to take on the 5km route around Draycote Water for the second year running.
The Avon Valley year 7 student will run the race as part of an eight-strong family team.
The school’s head teacher Alison Davies said: “It is always nice to hear about a student who is raising money for a charity in their own time and I wish Ellie and the members of her team all the best.”
The Cancer Research charity funds scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner.
