A PROJECT supporting vulnerable members of the community has been given a funding boost.
Beyond Brexit, the flagship project of the Benn Partnership Centre, has received funding from the Rugby Benevolent Fund for its second year in operation.
During its first year, the project has empowered victims of domestic violence and modern slavery, helped people sign up to Universal Credit, and supported people in finding jobs.
It has also helped hundreds with benefit and immigration support, documentation required to prove identity and using online services.
The trustees of the Rugby Benevolent Fund visited the centre and were updated with the progress of the project.
Chair of Trustees Graeme Fuller said: “The commitment shown by the staff and quality of the work carried out by the Centre continues to impress us and we look forward to maintaining the relationship.”
Ian Southcott added: “The Trustees of the Rugby Group Benevolent Fund have enjoyed a long and successful association with the Benn Partnership Centre and is currently supporting the Beyond Brexit programme with a grant of almost £90,000 over three years.”
