Robber threatened man in his 60s

A ROBBER threatened a man in his 60s for money in the early hours of Saturday morning (February 16).

The victim was walking in Cambridge Street near Clifton Road between 1am and 1.30am when a man demanded money from him.

He handed over some cash but the offender then threatened him for more.

The robber ran off towards Abbey Street.




He is described as a man in his 20s, between 6ft and 6ft 2ins tall, of a slim build. He was wearing a green Parka-style coat with the hood up, which had a fur lining.

Investigating officer Det Cons Tom Willett from Warwickshire Police said: “Thankfully, the victim was not injured but has been left understandably shaken by the incident.


“A number of enquiries are ongoing and we are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to please make contact.”
