AN EASTER feast is on the way for disabled and disadvantaged children after a recruitment agency collected almost 900 chocolate treats for them.
For the tenth year running, The Caraires Recruitment Consultancy has collected Easter eggs from its clients in Rugby, Coventry, Daventry and Crick.
The eggs are for children on a week away with HCPT, a Rugby-based children’s charity which takes disabled and disadvantaged children on an Easter holiday to the South of France.
HCPT puts on holidays for children with physical disabilities, mental health or behavioural problems, autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome and epilepsy – and others who face issues such as extreme poverty, bereavement, neglect and abuse.
During the week away, the children will visit attractions, enjoy fancy dress parties, play games and make friends.
Caraires directors Nicola and Sharon said: “We would like to extend an enormous ‘thank you’ to all of our clients who have once again supported us with our Easter Egg collection this year.
“HCPT are so grateful for this and it makes a huge difference to so many children, some of whom have never enjoyed an Easter egg before.”
