Bilton School celebrates improvements in GCSE results

BILTON School celebrated improvements in their GCSE results this year.

The percentage of pupils with a grade 4 or higher in both English and Maths rose to 66, and those gaining a grade 5 or higher in both subjects rose by 7 per cent compared to last year.

Top performers included Ajay Manhas (five 9s, two 8s), Patrycia Telka (four 9s, three 8s), Emily Browning (two 9s, five 8s), Luke Marlow (four 9s, two 8s), Dylan Smith (five 9s), and Rad Uddin (three 9s, three 7s, one Distinction*).

Head teacher Tim Chambers said: “We are really pleased to have an impressive improvement with both the attainment and progress of our Year 11 students this year.




“We enjoyed significant increases across almost all subject areas, all of which will set our Year 11 leavers onto their chosen pathway.”

“Well done to all our students and staff for their incredible hard work and dedication, as well as the unwavering support from parents.”
