A VOLUNTARY organisation has raised £1,000 for Rugby Dementia Support Group.
The Rugby Shree Prajapati Association (SPA) raised the funds at an evening of darts and skittles.
Ramesh Mistry from the SPA said: “As a voluntary organization, one of our objectives is to help good causes.
“Rugby Dementia Group provides such a valuable service in the town. It’s becoming more significant with the gradual increase in people being having dementia within our communities.
“We would like to thank all our volunteers, plus those who supported this event, including the local companies who contributed towards the raffle prizes. Without their support we would not have had this success.”
Rugby Dementia Support Group supports people with Dementia and those who care for them. Visit www.rugbydementiasupport.org.uk for more information.
