A SUSPECTED drug deal in broad daylight in the town centre prompted police to arrest a man.
Devon Bailey, 21, of Gray Street, Northampton, has been charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply, possession of heroin with intent to supply, possession of a knife in a public place and acquiring criminal property.
Bailey was arrested on Monday (September 30) afternoon after being spotted by officers from the Rugby Offender Management Unit while on patrol in Market Place.
Bailey appeared at Warwick Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (October 1) and was remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on October 29.
