A significant amount of suspected class A drugs were recovered at the height of storm Francis on Tuesday (August 24) from a vehicle stopped on the A426 Leicester Road.
Officers from Rugby’s Proactive CID Unit (supported by the Local Policing A shift) have arrested two people for suspected drugs offences.
A 37-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, both from Rugby, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. They have been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
