Arrests made after heroin seized by police in Rugby

ARRESTS have been made after a police sized a ‘significant amount’ of heroin in Rugby.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following a suspected drug deal yesterday (Thursday 29 October) on Bath Street at around noon.

A 40-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A controlled drugs and a 56-year-old man, also from Rugby, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug.

Both have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
