A SERIOUS traffic collision has shut off a main road near the town centre this morning (Monday February 22).
Police closed a section of Newbold Road close to the junction with Oliver Street, Corporation Street and Edward Street.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area where possible and take an alternative route.
