Five teenagers arrested in connection with spate of car key burglaries

FIVE teenagers have been arrested in connection with a spate of car key burglaries in Rugby last weekend.

In the early hours of Saturday morning (May 15), a Mercedes was taken after keys were stolen from a house in Corbridge Place, Cawston.

The following morning, two BMWs were taken after keys were stolen from a house in Gold Avenue.

Caslim Montgomery, 18 and Reece Ali, 19, both of Magee Close, were charged with two counts of burglary along with Kaine Wheeler, 19, of no fixed abode, and Amani Adams, 18, of Chester Road in Birmingham.




All four will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday May 18).

An 18-year-old woman from Rugby arrested on suspicion of burglary was bailed until next month.
