THREE men have been charged by police officers who seized cutting equipment from a car they stopped on the M1 in May.
Officers from Warwickshire Police’s vehicle crime team stopped the car at junction 16 in Northamptonshire after following it from the A45 near Dunchurch on May 12.
Martin Maughan, 28, of Cromford Path, London, Dylan Maughan, 22, of Ruby Close, London and Joh Stephen Maughan, 25, of Cromford Path, London have all been charged with going equipped for theft, and will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on July 30.
