A SUSPECTED animal abuser has been identified by police after a video of a cat being abused in Rugby was shared on social media.
A spokesperson for the Rugby Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We are aware of a video on social media of a cat being abused in Rugby.
“Officers are carrying out enquiries and have identified a suspect they hope to speak to.
“We politely ask people not to speculate on the incident while we carry out enquiries.”
