Warwickshire residents asked how they prefer to contact county's police force

Rugby Editorial 27th Sep, 2021   0

WARWICKSHIRE residents are being asked to have their say on how they prefer to contact the county’s police force.

A survey has been commissioned by Warwickshire Police to help improve its services.

Those taking part in the survey – which is open to anyone who lives or works in the county – do not need to have contacted the force before.

The main ways that the public can currently contact Warwickshire Police – other than by calling 999 in an emergency – are via the force website, by calling 101, or by attending one of the four front counters located at Leamington and Nuneaton Justice Centres and Rugby and Stratford police stations.

Assistant Chief Constable Ben Smith said: “As a force, we are absolutely committed to delivering an effective and appropriate response to all requests for service from the public, and we are continually seeking ways to improve the experience for those who need to contact us.

“We are keen to understand the views of the public and those that interact with the police to help us to adapt and improve our services.

“We would really appreciate everyone’s input into this survey, in order that we can gather the widest possible spectrum of views from our communities. Whether you’ve spoken to us multiple times or never before, we would be interested to hear your views.”

The results of the survey will be anonymised, meaning no personal details will be linked to any responses.
