A HIT-AND-RUN collision between a car and a pedestrian – which police believe was deliberate – left a woman with a serious neck injury.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was walking down Onley Lane towards Barby Road with her Yorkshire Terrier between 10.30am and 11.10am on Monday September 20 when a car collided with her.
The car left the scene, leaving the woman with a serious neck injury.
The vehicle is described as an old blue car. There was a male in the back with no top on.
Detectives are treating the incident as assault, believing the collision was deliberate.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has CCTV or dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, to call Warwickshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident 119 of September 20.
