A MOTORWAY crash near Rugby yesterday (Monday October 4) left a man in a critical condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a grey BMW 320 and an HGV collided on the northbound M1 between junctions 18 and 19 just after 3.10am.
The driver of the car was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries. His condition has been described as critical.
The car and HGV were travelling in lane one of the M1 northbound when the collision occurred. Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, saw either vehicle beforehand, or who may have dashcam footage.
