FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a blaze at a quarry near Rugby today (Saturday March 19) which released a large plume of smoke.
The fire broke out at Ling Hall Quarry off Coalpit Lane, near the junction between the A45 and the A4071.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue (WFR) and Warwickshire Police both advised residents in the Lawford Heath area to keep their windows closed.
