RUGBY Town surrendered a two-goal lead as hosts Westfields forced a replay in their FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round clash.
Valley led at the break through goals from Edwin Ahenkorah and Ryan Seal only to concede twice in the second period at Allpay Park.
Ahenkorah produced a fine left-footed finish to put Rugby ahead after just three minutes before Seal’s sublime free-kick found the top corner on the half-hour mark.
However, Westfields responded after the break when Kyle Cassell halved the deficit on 59 minutes before Matt Macdonald curled a fine set-piece past Matt Hill from 25-yards out on 75 minutes to force a replay.
And the replay will take place TOMORROW (Tuesday, August 9) with kick-off at 7.45pm at Butlin Road.
