A WARWICKSHIRE man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision on the M6 near Rugby last week.
The 41-year-old was arrested yesterday (Tuesday October 18).
At around 4.30am on Friday (October 14), a black BMW 5 Series collided with a blue Nissan Juke on the southbound carriageway of the motorway near junction 1.
The two occupants of the Juke – a man in his 40s and a woman in her 60s – were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The man died as a result of his injuries on Sunday (October 16). The woman remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Detectives are still appealing for anyone with information about the collision to come forward.
