Care home celebrates after hitting Top 20

A CARE home in Lutterworth created in memory of its founder’s parents has been rated as one of the top 20 in the East Midlands – out of nearly 1,500.

Brook House in Lutterworth received an award from care home review guide carehome.co.uk after it scored a top 20 ranking based on reviews from its residents and their friends and relatives.

Brook House Managing Director Krishna Patel said: “Our Chairman, Arvind Patel, created our business in loving memory of his parents who he unfortunately lost too soon and was therefore unable to have the honour of taking care of as they became elderly.

“What really stands out when you walk into the home is that everyone is genuinely happy. The sound in the home is quite often that of laughter and singing, and having happy staff means that our residents remain in good spirits despite what they are going through health wise.”

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of carehome.co.uk, said: “Reviews of Brook House show they provide an excellent standard of care and we would like to congratulate them on being a Top 20 care home in the East Midlands. It is such an achievement to be named as a top rated care home by the residents who actually receive the care as well as their family and friends.”
