RUGBY Borough suffered their heaviest home league defeat of the season after losing 3-0 against Daventry Town.
Borough found themselves two goals down at the break as Jordan O’Brien and Thomas Wood put the visitors in command at Kilsby Lane.
And O’Brien scored a stunner after the break to double his tally for the match and take the game out of Borough’s reach.
Rugby are now winless in their last four games and are yet to win at home since the turn of the year.
The result means Borough sit third in the United Counties League Premier Division South table.
Rugby are next in action against Bourne Town in the UCL Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, February 22 with kick-off at 3pm at Kilsby Lane.
