RUGBY Borough have launched a football and education programme to start for the 2025/2026 academic year at Kilsby Lane.
The programme offers teenagers looking at post-16 options and above an opportunity to pursue a career in the football industry while earning a nationally recognised qualification in sports education.
And the programme offers students the chance to earn a BTEC qualification equivalent to three A-Levels.
A third-year option will also allow students to further their studies with a Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) in sport.
Any students who need to retake Maths and English will have the chance to do so.
A UEFA A-licensed coach with more than 20 years of experience will lead the coaching and development programme.
The club have also announced a new football pathway partnership with Leamington FC who play in the National League North.
Alongside the football development side of the programme, the scheme will also focus on providing students with essential life skills and work experience in the sports and leisure industry.
The club will host a series of open training sessions to give prospective students and their families a chance to meet coaches and hear more about the programme.
