FUND-RAISERS are being urged to glow the extra mile at Alzheimer’s Society night-time Memory Walk in Warwick.

The event at Warwick Racecourse on March 21 will be raising money in the fight against dementia – one of the UK’s biggest health issues.

Fundraisers are invited to dress up in their glow-in-the-dark best for the 5.5km walk. Registration is now open. Click here glow to register and for further details.

Alzheimer’s Society is committed to spending at least £150 million over the next decade on dementia research to improve care and quality of life for people today while powering on the hunt for a cure for tomorrow.

The society has invested £5.6 million in three Centres of Excellence across the UK, and as a founder of the UK Dementia Research Institute (DRI), its £50million investment will power discoveries to prevent, treat and care for people with all types of dementia, as well as helping understand how to keep the brain healthy.
