HEARTBREAK Productions is preparing to take to the stage.
The Leamington-based open-air theatre company has four new shows which can be seen at Leamington Rugby Club between May 31 and June 11.
The season’s offerings include:
* Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Set in a reality-tv coupling show (think Love Island meets Big Brother) – May 31 and June 1.
* Much Ado About Murder, an original whodunit with lots of sleuthing silliness. June 3 and 4.
* Jane Eyre, an adaptation of the Charlotte Brontë classic, but using the backdrop of a carnival – June 8 and 9.
* David Walliams’ Awful Auntie followsing the fortunes of little Stella Saxby – June 10 and 11. Funds collected during the intervals of these performances will be donated to Young Lives vs Cancer.
Audiences can bring picnics and are advised to also bring a low-backed chair or rug to sit on, as seating is not provided. Heartbreak does offer a covered ticket which provides a chair under a marquee for an additional £3. Heartbreak performs in all weathers (unless there is danger to the actors or the audience).
